Target Trip #2 - .17 cents oop!!!

OK, so this Target trip was a mixed bag. Somethings that I planned to get were not there, but there were some unexpected surprises too. I did this in two transactions. First Transaction:

1 Scrubbing bubbles Extend-a-clean starter kit (Sale $7.99)
2 Gillette Sport Deodorants (Clearance $1.52 each)
2 Dove Travel Size Deodorants (.97 cents each)

Used Coupons:
$1.50 off any Dove Deodorant (x2) PRINT
$4.00 off any 2 Gillette Deodorants (From 5/2/10 PG)
$5.00 off one Scrubbing bubbles extend a clean (From 4/11/10 SS)
$5.00 Target Gift Card when you buy 1 Scrubbing bubbles extend a clean (From 5/2/10 SS)

Total: .97 cents
-used remaining .80 cents on gift card from last transaction
Total OOP - .17 cents!
Received $5.00 Target Git Card

Second Transaction:
1 45 oz Green Works Laundry Detergent (Clearance $5.94)

Used Coupon
$3.00 off any Green Works Laundry Detergent PRINT

Total: $2.94
Used Gift Card from previous purchase
Total OOP - $0.00!
Have $2.06 remaining on gift card.

A few notes on this: I received "overage" from both the Dove and Gillette coupons as the items I bought were less than the coupon. Target's coupon policy states that they do not give overage, they reduce the coupon down to the amount of the item. SO, don't expect to get overage every time you go to Target - it depends on your store and your checker. In this case it was a nice bonus and why my total was so low.

I still had a coupon for a free scrubbing bubbles refill when you buy a started kit, but they were out of refills :(
I also had more Get a $5.00 Target Gift card coupon, but could not find any more $5.00 off coupons, or I would have done this money maker again!

Total OOP - .17 cents
Total Saved: $20.70
Received: $2.06 Gift Card for next time!
