What does that mean?

Here are some abbreviations that I use in this blog:

OOP - "Out of Pocket" - the amount of actual cash that I had to fork over.

RR - Register Reward. This is sort of like a reverse coupon that you get at Walgreens. It is a Manufacturer coupon good on your next purchase that you get for buying specific items. They can be used on almost anything (fine print certain items like alcohol, tobacco and gift cards)

SS - Smart Source - one of the coupon inserts that comes in the Sunday paper

RP - Red Plum - One of the inserts that comes in the Sunday Paper

PG - Procter and Gamble - One of the inserts that comes in the Sunday paper

B1G1 or BOGO - Buy one get one free

wyb - "when you buy" ex. $2.00 off when you buy 2 Skippy Peanut butters

Blinkie - the coupons you find in the grocery store in those little blinkie machines!

Peelie - coupons that are stuck on products that you "peel" off - get it? I seriously don't make these up.

Tear Pad - Can you guess it? It's a coupon. That you tear off...a pad. Yep.
