*I actually ended up with .87 cents overage, which I wasn't expecting. I think that when I was planning it in my head, I had only doubled 2 coupons. I learned on this trip that Safeway will double any coupon up to .50 cents, and before I had thought that they would only double coupons .50 cents and under. So, sadly, I lost the overage when the cashier zeroed it out. If I had known about it, I would have thrown in another cake mix or goldfish. BUT, I decided that I just paid .87 cents for a learning experience and was happy about all my free stuff!
